To my mind , I think that it is an exhilirating and vivid movie which shows the real face of India which is composed of a lot of destitution ( it is represented with a multitude of slums situed all around Mumbay ) , the alarming religious discrimination between muslims and hinduist. Moreover the important network of corruption we see about the trafic of child beggars . This movie is so moving , the story is tragic , Jamal is separated from the woman of his life because she is prisonnier of a corrupted businessman . Eventually the story ends with a happy ending because he succeeds in rescuing his lover and he also becomes a millionaire .
